Sign Panels — Loveland, CO

Seven kinds of sign panels.
Built to outlast the buildings they go on.

A sign panel is only as good as the substrate underneath the print. We use 3M vinyl over cast laminate on aluminum and ACM substrates — the same materials Fortune 500 brands spec when failure isn’t an option. Most shops use the calendared, store-brand alternatives because they save a few dollars a square foot. We don’t. Your sign lasts longer. The math works out.

WHAT WE BUILD

Seven panel substrates. One shop. Every job built right.

Sign panels are where shortcuts get taken. Cheap vinyl fades in two years. Calendared laminate cracks. Wrong substrate for the application warps in the first Colorado summer. We pick the right material for the job — and tell you when you’re asking for the wrong one.
01

Aluminum Panels

The workhorse — rust-proof, weather-proof, lightweight, paintable. We cut to size in-house and finish with 3M vinyl over cast laminate for outdoor longevity. The right call for almost every exterior application.
02

ACM Composite

Two thin aluminum skins bonded to a polyethylene core — flatter than solid aluminum, lighter, and resistant to oil-canning. Premium choice for large-format wall signage where surface flatness shows.
03

PVC Panels

Interior signage, low-impact applications, lightweight wall graphics. Not for outdoor use in Colorado — UV and freeze-thaw will warp it. We’ll tell you when PVC is the right call and when you need something tougher.
04

Coroplast Panels

The corrugated plastic substrate. Election yard signs, real estate riders, short-term event signage, construction site placards. Inexpensive, recyclable, weatherproof for 6–18 months. Right product for the right job — but not a permanent solution.
05

Acrylic Panels

Clear or colored acrylic for premium interior signage, lobby displays, and dimensional wall installations. Cut and flame-polished in-house — the edges come out looking like glass. The high-end interior substrate when finish matters.
06

Post & Panel Signs

Ground-mounted entrance signs on one, two, or three posts — depending on panel size, wind load, and how the sign needs to read from the road. We’ve CNC-milled custom logo bases out of 3/8″ aluminum for Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery, the first cemetery owned and operated by the Archdiocese of Denver. Most buyers don’t realize a post-and-panel sign can be that kind of statement.
07

Reflective Signs

Engineer Grade or High Intensity Prismatic reflective sheeting — the same material classes used on every stop sign you’ve seen glowing back at you on a dark, stormy night. Built to MUTCD standards (the federal manual governing traffic signage) and ASTM material specs (the engineering standards your sign has to meet to be code-legal).

The cheap stuff isn't a savings. It's a deferred bill.

Most shops in Colorado run calendared vinyl over store-brand laminate because the per-square-foot cost is lower and the customer can’t tell the difference at install. The customer can tell the difference in 18 months, when the print fades, the laminate cracks, and the panel needs to be re-faced. We don’t run that material — not because we can’t get it, but because we’ve watched it fail for 30 years.

3M vinyl, cast laminate, every job.

Cast vinyl is dimensionally stable — it conforms to curves, resists shrinkage, and holds color in direct UV for 7+ years. Calendared vinyl is cheaper and starts curling at the corners in year two. We run cast. Period.

Right substrate for the application.

Coroplast for short-term. PVC for interior. Aluminum or ACM for exterior. Acrylic for premium interior. We'll tell you when you're asking for the wrong material — even if it costs us the margin. Your sign needs to last longer than this quarter's job order.

Thoroughly inspected before it leaves the shop.

Every printed panel — full UV cure verified, laminate adhesion checked, cut edges deburred, mounting hardware test-fit. We catch problems on our floor, not on your wall.

Built for clients that don't tolerate failure.

National Park Service. Kiewit. Sea-Tac Airport. Whole Foods. Boeing. NOAA — the people who engineer atomic clocks in Boulder. The National Weather Service. We've been the sign vendor for organizations that demand zero excuses for nearly 30 years. Your sign gets the same treatment.
